I was at a Verizon wireless event today representing my company and had the opportunity to not only hold, but use the Z30. The Blackberry rep that I spoke to had a Z30 as his device and all I can say is wow!! He told me that they are in the final testing phases for Verizon, but that for sure they would have it "very soon". I held the device in hand and it was really nice and premium feeling, it was running 10.2.1 and it was loaded up with apps running and all of his other stuff, no lag what so ever. I held it up next to my Z10 and it really isn't that much bigger, so for those who think that it will be huge in hand, it's not. The screen is really nice, even compared to the Z10's it is vivid, and the speakers are LOUD!!! I challenge anyone with an HTC ONE to prove that Boom Sound is better, it may have more bass, but Blackberry sound is more crisp and lifelike. Anyway I can't wait for it to come, I've already told my company that I NEED one.

Verizon can have the exclusive I guess ... just so long as T-Mobile makes it available at some point I'm ok. Or BlackBerry sells direct from their website.

Thinking I want one. Have been happy with my Z10, and even the size of it, but with the nice external speakers, and Miracast, I'm starting to lean towards the Z30. I'm on Verizon. I may have to convince my boss that I "need" one too. :-)

Now of course they will mention it for a week or two and then bury it at the bottom of the web site listing of available products, if past practice is any guide.
Have held off on the Z10 waiting for the bugs to be worked out (and to see if the company survives), this looks like a pretty nice piece though.

He didn't give me any date or even pricing, but he did wink and tell me to put it on my Christmas list!! I'm thinking late November mid December if I had to guess but we all know how Verizon prolongs things.

I decided today to call Verizon daily to ask about Z30 availability. Today's rep said the end of October, but more likely beginning of November. Interesting part of the call was him asking how I liked my Z10. I am still in my 14-day 'trial' period with the Z10 and he suggested I could take it back an wait for the Z30. I have been using a BB for a few years now, so I'm pretty good at waiting. What's a few more weeks?

Omg they better not. Why the hell would they have wireless charging exclusive? It should be universal to the z30.

For now it looks like a Verizon exclusive. Maybe also other carriers whoever use the sta 100-3 will get the wireless charging

I know better than to give any credibility to a sales rep, but I sure hope these dates are right

No one know if vzw will be running any specials on plans? Vzw plan pricing sucks but they are the only other carrier that works where I go.

Funny, i spoke to a VZW rep the other day, I specifically called for Z30 info. The only thing he could find in the system was an Otterbox Case that's available. Otherwise he couldn't/wouldn't give me any other info. What's funny is I actually talked him into getting a Z10 for himself. He currently has an IP5, and clearly said the only reason is because of the apps. What I find shocking is that he works for a phone provider and hadn't even taken the time to learn the products. I gave him information he could have easily pulled up in the system. C'est La Vie, I'm sure we've gained at least 1 more proud Z10 owner.
