    Hello,

    Part of the reason I bought the z30 was it's ability to be a USB master. I was hoping that while I was travelling, I would be able to pull photos off of my camera. However when I connect the camera via usb to the phone, I get a 'driver for device not found'. I am guessing this is because the camera operates in MTP mode, rather than UMS mode?

    The camera is a Fuji X-T1 if that matters. The fuji wifi-transfer (Android) app doesn't work either because it uses wifi-direct, and the BB Android runtime doesn't support wifi direct (atleast in 10.2).

    Anyone else have experience with this?

    According to this blog post MTP seems not to be supported http://devblog.blackberry.com/2013/1...usb-host-mode/
    I'd recommend using a small SD card reader to transfer your pictures OTG. Nice camera btw.

    Yup just ran into the same problem using my new canon. it works with my Samsung tab s. But the z30 and Samsung do not talk with each other. So copying pictures from the z30 requires some wifi transfers using Dukto app on both

    Now I transfer from canon to Tab S using cable. Then copy from internal storage to tab's SD card and the even to USB thumb drive.

    Thanks guys, I guess I'll grab a small SD reader for travelling purpose.

    Aside:
    Man this app-gap is killing me lately. I was about ready to jump ship, but then my son bought a brand new HTC M9 on the weekend; beautiful piece of kit, but that OS is still just a big hot mess. Not matter which of the 3 you choose, you are giving up something, I guess.

    That only affects when you plug the Z30 into a computer, where the computer controls the device. This thread is about the reverse, using the Z30 to control a USB device.
