    • Buy a USB on the go adapter.
    • Plug a USB thumbdrive or other USB based external storage device into said adapter.
    • Plug said adapter into BlackBerry 10 smartphone
    • Browse to file manager, look for SD Card showing in menu.
    • Access files, profit.

    Or just watch this video..

Darn, I just ordered an adapter that looks just like that. Fingers crossed that it works.

The other adapter that I have seen available is an angled one, which blocks the hdmi port, which may or may not be an issue, depending on your intended use.

Btw, very hard to find these cables locally (in Montreal, in any case), but easy to find online. The Crackberry shop should definitely add them to its offerings.

Getting my Z30 next Thursday. Once I do I'm going going to be doing some SERIOUS "Mobile Computing" with work. Accessing service manuals on a thumb drive and loading firmware onto an SD card. Among a lot of other things! No longer requiring my Laptop.

    Win, win, win!

Here is one that is really cheap and not on an angle which I prefer, do you guys think this would work?

might just get it and see how it goes and report back

Should work be fine! If you're good with a soldering iron you could make your own too!

I picked up at HipStreet Usb on the go adapter that's labeled for Samsung's. Works great but it covers the hdmi hole. Got it at Staples. It has inputs for Usb, mini Usb, SD and micro SD.

Have any of you been able to get an external hard drive to work? I am using a powered drive and a powered usb hub, but no luck.

Are there certain specs that might be required for the drive to work? In searching on Google, Android users talked about ntfs support, and needing an app for that. Wonder if BlackBerry took that into account already or not...

Is anything plugged into the adapter? It won't detect just the adapter, something needs to be plugged into the adapter as far as I know

It doesn't actually see the hub, but will see the peripherals plugged into it.

FAT32... Ok, time to reformat a drive! Thanks for the info. Cb community is the best!
