i have a unlocked blackberry z30 im trying to use my tmobile sim card and its not able to read it does anyone know how to fix this

Are you sure it is an UNlocked Z30?

The sim card works in other devices? Can you borrow another sim card and try that one?

Have you tried a different SIM in your Z30? In rare occasions a phone's SIM reader can be busted and needs to be replaced.

Happened to me after using a micro/ nano sim card adapter. The adapter bent some of the little contacts inside the sim card slot. The sim card wasn't making contact so I used a small piece of business card to act as a wedge behind the sim card to ensure there was good contact with the slot and chip side... worked after that.

Other option is replacing the sim card slot as it is damaged.

Try the paper wedge or replace the sim card reader and report back.
