Has anyone else experienced this? If I reply to a text and just want to say "ok" probably 50% of the time my phone will just send "o". I tested it out and it doesn't seem to matter what word it is. If I put one word it will only send 1 letter.

It's always happened since say 1 with my Z30. The 10.2.1 update didn't help then the 10.3.1 update didn't help either. I have OS 10.3.1.2558 now on Rogers. Model STA100-5.

It only seems to be texting but then again I never use BBM and when I'm emailing I would never reply with one word haha.

Yeah, can't confirm, I answer a lot of texts with "ok" or "kk" and I've never noticed

It happened to me very infrequently when I was on 10.2.1, but 10.3.1 fixed it.

I find if I hit send too soon I do the same thing I hit "o"then "k" then "send" and "o" is all that gets sent

Happens a lot less on 3.1

I find that works 95% of the time as a work around for myself. I still end up sending someone "o".. and I find if it does it once I have to right out a sentence or I keep texting "o" "o"... "Omfg I'm trying to say ok!!!"

I've had this happen at least half a dozen times over the last couple years. Not sure what caused it, but yes, sent many "o" texts, and then the "k" just sits there in the text field. Haven't had it yet since 10.3.1

Happens to me all the time. Seems like the phone takes a while to process the text message and then I hit send before it has time to get to the "k". I usually just have to wait a few seconds between tying "ok" and hitting send.

Exactly!! Same here. Several times I have had to restart phone to get the K to go away

It's not a problem with the OS. I don't know anyone else with this problem. It must be user error or an issue locally on your device in which case a wipe and reinstall of the OS would be the only solution.

This happens to me too. I'll swipe "ok" but only the "o" comes up. Then I'll type the "k", send it and then the text bar gets jammed up so it shows a writing-text icon in the hub. The only way to clear it is to send another text to the same recipient.

Text message app is slow. When opening a conversation, if I type in field too fast and hit send before it's done loading this issue happens.

I never delete a text. There is years of history. Problem is the database load is inefficient.
