Save a back up if z10. Make sure the z30 is newer. I used the tmo os with auto loader Cuz my z10 had the update through tmobile.

Don't do decide switch that crashes if you have android apps. Won't change over. Do a restore.

That's how I got mine to work.

I moved from a Z10 to a Z30 two weeks ago using BB Link (Z10 was on 10.2.1.1925). Both phones were connected to my laptop via USB and it took about 2 1/2 hours. It worked really well with all contacts, calendars, emails, and folders were duplicated. The Z30 was almost a clone of the Z10, except only programs obtained from BB World were installed on the Z30. I had to manually reinstall Snap and Amazon App Store, and reinstall the dozen or so Android Apps I use (and move them to the appropriate folders - good thing I had the Z10 to do a side-by-side comparison).

Make sure you've checked the steps

1 SAME OS VERSION on both Device

2 Make sure you have SIGNED IN BBID ON BOTH DEVICE (SAME BBID ON BOTH Device)
Step 2 had me thinking for a while since I did sign in with my ID on both device yet it keeps asking me to sign in on the device I wanted to transfer the Data to. I realised I need to get the BB registered on the network. Do this by inserting Sim and when its done, you will see the BB network sign Top Right of your screen!!!

3 You can perform single Backups of each Settings , Media and Applications and Restore them one by one (the way I chose to restore my Device data) OR you can use device Switch on BB Link and let the software guide through its simple steps.
