Had to replace the z10, as it had been giving troubles, plus t mobile has not updated their of to 10.3.x yet. Pretty annoying on their part. The z10 could have been wiped and reloaded, but I really wanted to leverage the extra screen real Estate.

However, so far the z30 has been a great device. 10.3.2 is a terrific improvement, and the feel of the hardware is great!

The only thing is the non removable battery ; I have no idea what BlackBerry is thinking, moving away from this architecture. It was always one of their best design ideas.

Anyone have a reasonable figure of what to expect, battery life wise (daily use and life span?)

BlackBerry claims 25 hrs of mixed use. But reality is often different than manufacturers claim....

The z30 smashed all my BlackBerry devices (including the passport) in batterylife.
    It was AMAZING!!!

Don't worry about the battery, you'll get through the day

With the Z30, he only time you'll see significant battery loss or instability is when upgrading the OS. No different then any other BB10 device.

Other then that, I get a full day no matter what my usage is and I'm hard pressed to think of any other devices I might of had in my lifetime, that could do that. Aside from flip phones!

    Look! It's Zedzilla30!

Congrats! I took advantage of a sale in May and picked up my Z30. It is a fantastic device. I echo the praise for the battery life. The size is also nice. They were able to fit the 5 inches into a very manageable form factor.

Light usage for me is 3 days of battery life. Medium is a day and a half. Heavy usage is a day.

I need to pick me one up too. Z10 battery is horrible. Is there any chance z30 will fall down to $200-225 range or $249 is the lowest it will go for now? I am willing to wait one more month. My friends are trying to convert me into android and apple but I ain't going there.

This does a fine job of assessing battery health and more: Check out BlackBerry Virtual Expert in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/27226887

Battery isn't that hard to replace, as long as you are careful and delicate. It takes no more than 5-10 minutes

I was saying the seller said it was GSM unlocked model and was a Verizon branded Z30. I purchased from two different seller with the same results. One order was shipped directly from Amazon.
