I will say this. It is certainly not like I need a new phone (I have a Z10 & Q10), I just felt that the Z30 has been out for a while now, and all issues should have been worked out. Virtually a perfect time to buy; even more so with the Passport being released soon...

Agreed, 100%. Been enjoying my Z10... But Thursday morning at 2:00am I decided to make the jump... Received my Z30 this morning via ShopBlackberry.com with Priority Overnight, planned to take a few days to set it up and get used to it... Didn't take long for me to say 'screw it', transfered all my data and started using it right away... Incredible device!

...those with a Z30 already, but initially owned a Z10, does the camera on the Z30 work better?

I haven't noticed a difference with the camera (I generally don't notice things unless they bug me tho, so I may not be the best person to respond!) Did the 40 hour +/- drive from southern Ont to Canmore Alberta this past week and was so happy with the longer battery life while on the road. I also really like the wider keyboard, and of course the larger screen. I did like the screen quality of the z10 better at first but used to the z30 now and would not want to go back.

While we were away, we were stopped for 4 hours between 2 high, sheer cliffs near Wawa due to car accident and many were coming over to me to get updates as they were having signal issues (mostly iphone) and I had 4 bars.

I'd also brought my ipad to listen to music, and was very surprised to find the sound and volume better from my z30 and ended up using the z30 instead.

I am happier than I thought I would be with the z30 and wish I had done it sooner!!

Apparently, you snooze, you lose. I was going to order a Z30 today, and the price is now $499! It was $349.00 last week. I wonder if this price increase is because we're in September, and the Passport is imminent...

Yeah that deal for the Z30 was only until the end of August! That sucks! Check on Craigslist or CB Market.

I have the z10 and the q10 but was thinking about either getting the z30 or the passport. Lately I've been leaning towards the z30 because of the price and the bigger screen. Don't really know about the size of the passport or the price it's gonna cost me to get it. Decisions.

Exact same situation for me. I been waiting for passport but I lost interest kind of. Waiting on a launch day still, nothing... I'm gonna Z30 it I think. Meh

Bro, I was in the same boat! I even lurked at the market place and thought I had a deal on one. Wasn't meant to be.

So, I went and bought me another Q10.

I bought my new one at about $20 more expensive than my other 9 month old used Q!

Anyway. Good luck in finding one.

In my town Z30 is out of stock. Had been to at least 15 shops today and no one has a single unit. All were trying to sell Z3 to me...

I need to wait for 3-4 days I guess...

By the way, navi, today in one shop, I found a live unit (a second hand white colour) and let me tell you Z30 is heavy !! way heavier than Z10 or Q10... I felt it so solid in my hands !! loved it... A terrific strongly built device...

Which version Z30 did you get and where did you buy it? I heard the Verizon Z30's are "Retired" and they don't sell them anymore. I don't know how true that is but there is a thread here about it. So if you are on Verizon, don't wait for a Z30 if you find a good deal on one.

I sure am missing my Z30. The battery stopped charging, so it had to go in for repairs on Wednesday. They gave me a Z10 to use. My first BB10 device was the Z10 and I loved it....but once the Z30 came out, I was all over it, gave my Z10 to my son, he dumped his Galaxy 4 as soon as I gave it to him. It is a great phone, but the Z30 is a Spectacular phone!!!!!!! Hope I get mine back soon, this Z10 is just too small for me.

The Z30 is awesome. I'm sure the Passport will be great too, but it will be bigger and a bit heavier. It depends on your preferences.

Sorry, wrong. Only the Verizon Z30 (STA100-3) has QI Wireless charging. None of the other Z30's have it. The STA100-5 is a perfect match for T-Mobile and also works well for AT&T. The only problem using it on AT&T is you will not get LTE most of the time. If you are in an AT&T area that uses band 4 for LTE, you are fine. Otherwise AT&T uses band 17 for LTE in most areas.

Some have reported a difference, but I haven't seen anything to that effect. The Z30 can capture some incredible shots. Just take a look at the 'Post photos taken with your z30' thread!

I think my z10 took better low light pics. And also grabbed more light in Skype convos with less light.
