I love my Z30 but it's really showing its age and I think the time has come to retire it and get a new phone.

I think you'll regret it after you make the switch. If the phone itself is worn out I would just get another new z30

I've had the new Samsung Galaxy S9+ for a few days, and while I miss some things from my Z30, I have to say this S9+ is FAST! Very fast and smooth! I don't wait anymore for images to load in emails, even in messages that have a lot of pics. And the display is huge and beautiful! I'm still getting used to it and figuring things out. This is my first android.

Whatever you get, get a Verizon branded phone if the Hotspot, wifi calling etc mean anything to you. I've been happy with my moto as a previous Z30 owner.

You weren't with Verizon were you? Hope it works out for you.
I pulled the plug on Verizon and CDMA to get a Motion. After attemting to harass Best buy into getting a Motion to check out at the store I finally gave up & just ordered one from them. Tell you what it's love at first feel!
With all the things I love about BB like Hub, keyboard & DTEK with the added functionality of the apps I used before I went BB. Absolutely not looking back.

If you do not like IOS and want to give a look to Android give a try to the new Nokia. They are producing amazing phones, pretty solid and with monthly updates. They got the updates well before the android BlackBerry. I use sometimes one since almost one year now, a Nokia 5. Initially was a bit slow, but after the first updates the telephone became very fast, no problems at all. And I receive the monthly patches pretty fast.....

Went from Z30 to Motion. Miss Z30 form factor, but it wasn't running as well as it should, etc. Looked at Nokia but thought I'd wait another year. Motion is an excellent phone with pretty much the BB10 feel.
