Paying with NFC seems a little slower on the Z30 than it was on the Z10.
Could be just me. Or where I tap the terminal with the back of the phone.

Anyone else experience this?

Where do you tap the terminal and what is your phones orientation?

Z10, tried a few times. Didn't work with drive thru for me. The terminal case didn't allow the phone to get close enough. Otherwise work nicely

Works as soon as my phone gets within an inch of the terminal. I usually place my phone diagonally to ensure it works.

The NFC is transmitted through the BB logo on the back of the phone on the Z30. Z10 was closer to the top. Never had an issue placing the BB logo directly over the screen.

The only issue I have is repeated having to convince the Tim Hortons staff that I need to use the POS terminal and not the bar scanner. They had a video in service on it, which obviously nobody watched. I even say I'm using a blackberry and they still insist on scanning the screen.

I tell them I am using a Tim Card and they always handed the terminal to scan. When I used my Z10 that is. Now I need to scan the screen cause the timmy app on Droid licks. But that is another story.

Yup, used TimmyMe app on Passports for first time today to pay for my Steak&Cheese Panini! Was super smooth and fast!!!
