I don't use screen protectors but handle my phones with care. Never put coins or car keys in the same pocket as my phone. My brother used my Z30 for 3 months and I regret not putting screen protector on it before handing it to him. Its got so many scratches that bother me a lot. 9 months on me with no scratches what so ever, 3 months on him and its like a skate arena.

I don't like screen protectors but because of the large screen size and the fact that I default to a larger font size, I went to amazon.com and got the only privacy screen I could find for the z30. It does keep ' side viewers ' from seeing the screen. It is darker when looking straight ahead but not so much that I mind. I didn't worry about screen scratches with this or any other phone but privacy.

I don't really regret much ever... which may not be a good thing after all... either way. my z30 screen has cracked on me twice.
Yup TWICE. So next week I'm ordering a new one for about 50$. Do I regret spending that money? Perhaps. Do I regret the good times that caused such crack? NEVER.
