Z30 earpiece volume extremely low and volume maxed out. forget the resets ets and all the other garbage. 4th one and same issue. hearing is great. is their an app anywhere that can increase my earpiece volume or do I give up

I have never seen an app to increase the volume. Usually the OS takes care of that. Which do you have on your phone?

I suspect the only way to immediately help with the problem would be to try either bluetooth earphones or a wired headphone.

It really seems odd that an OS update would cause this.

But I wonder if an OTA update installs while the ear piece volume is low or very low if that establishes some kind of 'normal' and it can't be raised after that.

I find that the 'airplane' setting in the equalizer menu is noticeably louder than any others.
