    Hello everyone,

Hopefully, i updated my z30 to 10.3.2.2226 via autoloader to fix the wifi problem but still i can not use my wifi smoothly . I've bought this device 3 weeks ago and so happy with it except Wifi problem.

In 15 min, my phone disconnected wifi and also my laptop and other wifi devices also disconnected because of the z30. (sta100-2) I am sure, router has no problem.

Is there any software that use WIFI problem-free for z30? Wifi stability is so important for me, not many colorful things

Need help, have a nice day...

Yep, this has been happening since 10.3.1 builds, some people have it some don't, there is no fix yet.

Personally, send it back and get another z30 and if it's on 10.2.1 then stay on 10.2.1, there is a lot discussion about this; we don't know if it's a hardware issue or something in 10.3 going wrong.

Thanks for the answer, i viewed all the topics about this, can i reinstall 10.2 with autoloader after the wipe? Is that the problem can be solved?

I do not want to change, in my country that device is importer guaranteed already.

No, now you're on 10.3.2 you're stuck on 10.3.2, you can't downgrade anymore.

I know this but some people say it could be.

Anyway, thank you again for the answer.

It was only very early beta versions of 10.3.2 that could be downgraded

yeah i've been having alot of wifi problems too...

i played around and enabled some more 'advanced features'.. even though i doubt the network uses them.. eg. enable ipv6... interacceess point handover etc... also i tried using 'dual band', or just 2.4/5ghz.. depending on what the router is using..

it seems to have improved things... though not as good as my $80 android phone

I waited patiently for Verizon to get the 10.3 update ready and loaded it when it came out. The wifi issue is terrible. PLEASE FIX IT BlackBerry!

Is this a universal wifi issue or just with a home or office router? How about at a place like Starbucks or public library or other open/public wifi setup?

I guess I'm fortunate and have not had such issues - although there were some flaky wifi systems when I was in very small hotels in the French Alps. But in most places once I paired, if I left and came back hours later, it just reconnected fine.

At home, I never had issues with a Linksys router. With my newish CenturyLink giga (I don't have that speed) router/modem combo, I seem to lose my pairing about once every 3 weeks or so. I have to either reboot the phone or unpair and re-pair. Then it works for weeks on end.

I deleted my saved WiFi networks and added again. I also changed the band from dual to 2.4 ghz. Seems slightly better, but maybe just wishful thinking.

You are lucky man. I really love this device but addicted to internet package. What is your model? (mine is STA 100-2)

OP, need to do some trial an error. Have you tested your WiFi router at home and ensure 100% that is not the case?

Has your wireless router had done a factory reset?

Have you tested your WiFi on other people's wireless routers (friends or daily etc.)?

Try using a static ip for your phone with your home router.

This info passed on with the BlackBerry Passport!

I've got the Verizon model which is the 100-3, I believe.

That could be a big difference as the phone contains both cdma and gsm circuitry and antennas?? It also contains wireless Qi charging circuits so they may have placed internal parts in different locations?????

And just to be clear, I'm not trying to rub things in about mine working but pointing out how to test or whether it is a problem with one router or multiple wifi locations.

Good luck with getting it working correctly.

That is also something that I use on my Z30 (and before that the Z10 and the 9930 and the Tour before that - all were Verizon models).

I feel the OP's pain. When I changed from my z10 to z30 (both verizon models), the phone would drop WiFi signals in areas of my house that were strong with the z10. Same router, same phone settings.
