Have to ask, but is anyone willing to help out a fellow Crackberry member in the States?
With what exactly? Looking to become a Canadian citizen?? :)
Come on up!
Hahaha

Good one! :rotfl: You know, if it didn't cost so dang much to live up there I totally would, in fact it's probably warmer in some areas of Canada than it is here in Minnesota!
I thought it might be obvious what I was looking for help with.....
As Telus is based in Western Canada the shipping times for BC are pretty fast

You got that right lilved in Chicago for a while, murphy its cold there in the winter, my God!!
as for expensive, I dunno, some stuff is, some stuff isnt, I enjoy it haha!!
Anyway, yes would you be looking to have somebody buy a Telus phone and have it shipped to you?
Yes, that's kind of what I was thinking. I will PM you.
I just bought a Z30 model #STA 100-5 from Telus, and with no sim card. When I power up the phone, go to "security and privacy" and then "sim card", it says:
Network subset
unlocked
service provider
unlocked
I will be going by Wind this morning to see if a Wind sim card works on AWS 1700 without unlocking the phone.
update: phone is locked to network. I paid US$19 to "quickphoneunlock.com" and received an unlock code in less than 2 hours. On my way to switch from Rogers to Wind:-)
