I heard the Telus z30 came unlocked, is this true? Furthermore, I'm a Rogers client, would all be fine with the network if I was to simply put my SIM card in? I'm going to pull the trigger on this bad boy very soon if it is so.

You know...you're NOT the first person to ask this. Makes me believe that it really does come unlocked. Do you know anyone on Telus who's bought one already, and who's phone you could borrow to test this?

No they are not unlocked if you want Telus to do it they will for $35 bucks after you've had the phone for 90 days. Or you can take it to a local shop or use cellunlocker website. http://www.cellunlocker.net. or crackberries and pay around $50-$75 to do it immediately after you buy it, there is no free lunch kids!

That might be true but highly unlikely, I've been on Telus for 10 years and in the last year have purchased many phones and they did not work with rogers until they were unlocked. All were either Zed or Q's

Why not just buy the TELUS phone for $600, get it and use the crackberries service or the cellunlocker.net service for about 50 bucks and your still cheaper than a Bell z30, I mean your already dropping 600 bucks...

    Hey !
i just picked up the Z30 yesterday from telus and its not unlocked. I used my koodo sim card in it fine but i know telus and koodo are sister companies so i know koodo sims work with telus and vice versa. Other then that, its not unlocked for anyone else (atleast not mine).

It is not unlocked. I am a fido customer and I ordered my Z30 from Telus online. After ordering you need to get the unlock code from online source. (cost money)

I ordered mine tuesday as well, but I still haven't been sent any shipping "info" I'm hoping it just literally shows up at my door today or tomorrow lol

My two cases I ordered from CrackBerry should be here today, so today would be perfect
