T-Mobile pushed out 2160 for the Z30.

Has anyone gotten Wifi calling to work?
I had the Wifi calling icon until I installed the Wifi calling app. That killed it and I have not seen it since.

Got mine to work after updating my E911 address on tmobile.com and a device restart.

Guide me here: you downloaded the Tmo OS, substituted the radio file, installed the OS using Sachesi,correct?

Downloaded official Tmobile OS on phone

Downloaded wifi calling from appworld

Logged in at my-tmobile.com and entered my home address as my E911 address

Restarted phone and it worked

Thanks OP. I just checked and see the update available via OTA. I'm installing now. I will let you know if the wifi calling works for me. I'm usinga Telus Unlocked STA100-5 Model.

Apparently mine just updated to OS Version 10.2.1.2141 instead of 2160. I'll wait to see if the T-Mobile 2160 gets pushed to me.

No luck so far. The whole thing is weird. 1. Why push out an update for a handset they don't sell. 2. The update does not have the t-mobile bars included wich means that they don't plan to support it.

As a side note, when I updated my Z30 to the Z10 software (using the Z30 radio), I did get the IMS settings and the ghost image for the wifi calling on the top of the screen to show up at first boot . The IMS showed that it was not connected. When I rebooted, after trying to fix the ims not connected issue, the whole thing stopped working as if its being blocked by T-mobile. Now, I no longer get the IMS services nor the ghost image of the wifi calling.

Got the T mobile 2234 update pushed to me. Installed the wifi calling app and configured. Added E911 address and was confirmed acceptable. Still does not work. Why would T Mobile push the update to the Z30 and then not permit WI-FI calling? I know T Mobile does not offer the Z30. Still weird to offer the update though.

What error are you getting? Or, is it just "greyed-out"?

Mine TMo WiFi app is not greyed out. But it says error (without an error #) when I open it. I've spoken to tech support at TMo, they don't support the phone and have no plans to make the phone WiFi calling functional.
That said, there is a TMo WiFi calling App in Blackberry World. It lists Z30 as a compatible phone. I downloaded it. But still got an error message.

Don't know if there is a way to contact whoever created the app and get them to fix the problem?

I don't think working through tmobile is going to get you anywhere unfortunately. They also support the moto x, iPhone 5 and nexus 5 all of which are even sold directly or indirectly and all of which do not support wifi calling. I believe they bake the feature into the software and the app compliments the new or feature but I may be mistaken.
