Verizon z30 works fine on ATT.

    I'm even getting LTE.

I live in Puerto Rico. I have noticed that it switches to 4G in certain areas that would normally have slow speeds but in the metro area and most other places it shows LTE.

Verizon z30 speed test on ATT LTE:
(taken in the outer metro area)

    AT&T or any other carrier-lte.png

On my Z10 with ATT I would get this in the metro area.

    AT&T or any other carrier-att-lte.jpg

Of course there is a difference in speed being that it's for a different network and it's missing two (2) frequencies.

    Verizon Z30 frequencies:

    AT&T or any other carrier-img_00001467.png

    ATT Z10 frequencies:

    AT&T or any other carrier-z10-frequencies.png

But what the hell...I have a working z30 and an happy as can be.

I also have a Verizon z10 but it's still in the box. I will test it later and post the results.

    UPDATED SPEEDTEST:

This test was done in the metro area. I would like to mention that these tests are done here in Puerto Rico with my Verizon z30 on AT&T LTE network. I cannot guarantee that this will work for everyone else.

Anyone know of anyway to tell which LTE band they are using in an area without actually being there?

You might want to post your location and carrier to see if another member can check for you.

I use signal for radios and frequencies. It's free.

Check out Signal in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/21867724

Looking for southern central indiana and northern kentucky/ louisville area.

I had the signal app, but from what i could tell, it only shows u what is enabled on your phone, not what you are actually using...

This is correct. It will help any member find out what bands\frequencies they are using with their carriers. This is the only way they will know what they have and possibly provide you any information.

Another alternative would ( to contact the major carriers and ask to speak with tech support. They should be able to help you as well.

I'm an AT&T customer and they tell me the Z30 isn't available. Where'd you get the phone and how'd you get it on the AT&T network?

Do a search on the fourms for this issue, lots of info regarding this. Currently there isnt a version that supports all of AT&T's LTE bands

You got yours online from Verizon Wireless and it comes unlocked? I certainly would have thought it's locked to their network. Please give more information.

Aren't you forced into at least a month to month plan when you order? I don't see any way to buy the phone without some kind of plan attached.

I tried and tried in store(Verizon) and online but couldn't without some type of plan. Found one on Amazon and it didn't require a plan
