Have any att users that bought an unlocked z30 been able to get their address books to connect? I called CS and they wouldn't touch it. I figured I would get shutdown but it was worth a shot.

You should be able to use the device switch option in BB Link to transfer your contact from your old device to your new device. You can also use online sources such as a google account, or outlook.com. And your carrier probably has a what's called a cellbright machine which can do the task, and can even work with old "dumb" phones.

I have an unlocked Z30 on AT&T and when I put my sim card in and started the setup process I was prompted to sync my AT&T address book. I've never used it before so I chose not to and canceled the sync before it started. I realize this probably doesn't help you much but at least I know mine prompted me to sync.

pkcable device switch will not work...this is an online cloud addressbook that we have with AT&T which does not seem to work with the z30. I had this problem as an early adopter of the z10...it started working when they released the phone on their network.

On Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.2141 it shows two att address books, 1 empty and 1 with the last 10 new numbers I added. Will update to new os asap and hope it resolves the issue!

Because it worked great on legacy and contacts on os 10 have been a clusterphuck.

The only thing wrong with bb10 contacts is people not cleaning the data that they have, and i'd rather Google have my contacts than att

The AT&T Address Book will not sync with the Z30 simply because it's not an AT&T branded phone.

"Only supported mobile handsets can be associated with the AT&T Address Book."

The Z30 is obviously not a supported device. You can add the Address Book account and it will say that it's successfully set up but the contacts will not sync, even on .3175. I had to export all my contacts from there and import and sync from my Outlook account instead.

So that's what the damn thing is. Every time I can't get my T-Mo signal where I live, my phone sees (but cannot use) AT&T... and this AT&T address book shows up on my phone.

I'm on Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3175 and though it shows no errors it has only a handful of contacts in it. Every sync there are zero added deleted. The sync log shows a successful sync but all zeros.
