I overslept and woke up at 11 instead of 8:30 because my Z30 drained battery overnight, doing nothing.
This is not a daily issue, it happened once yesterday and once today otherwise BB is running perfectly fine.
Why can't we drill down further to pinpoint exactly what in darned "System" it is that's eating my battery and using RAM like crazy. Look at this:

I bet this has something to do with android apps. Is android considered part of "System"?

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. It took ages for my phone to charge and when it did, it was like it just didn't want me to prosper in life.

I did a hard reset a few times, checked to see what android apps were running (none!), did a dance to the battery gawds and somehow it corrected itself at work that day.

I was running 10.3 and I was ready to go back to 10.2.1.xxxx! Don't know what happened, but it got better.

It fixed itself, I bet it is one of those android apps, not sure which one, but it either gets stuck running or runs some processors even after being closed.
I keep Taskmanager handy, but it is really weird. For example now I just looked at it, Mega and some other random app was running, I turned off Maps and came back to refresh they were off, but I never ran Mega, not to mention it was restarted recently. I think there is some serious security issue going on with this whole Android runtime, and I hope it gets fixed with 10.3 when a stable is released.

Last 3 days it has been running just fine, no major drops in battery, runs all day without issues, like a champ, but it is still a bit nerve wrecking that one night I don't plug it it might just due and make me sleep through my morning meeting, only to wake up at 11:00 to 9 voice mail messages once it charges.. They would think I died or something! Give my job away to someone else, my life ruined! LOL..

I found that having 1mobile installed would contribute to large "system" utilization. Uninstalling it really helped.

I removed that junk long time ago, never re-installed after that, so it can't be that.

I have just found that one week ago my battery life has gone from 2 days to 5 hours. I do not know why. I am now finding the phone unusable and have swapped back tto my iphone4.
Any advice would be appreciated. I have deleted a number of apps I do not use much, but I have not really installed many new ones in some time. I wonder if an existing app update is the cause?
