Can some one say me why does my system and display take the maximum amount of battery. Is there any problems in my mobile. I've also attached a screen shot of my battery usage. Itz a brand new and I got this the past Christmas 2k15, that's about 20 days ago. Can someone give me a solution. Please....
    Thank you

Am I missing something here? You seem to be getting good battery life.

Not really up to what others say for 2 days. But my doubt is why my battery consumption is heavy for those two things.?

Well, the only thing controlling your display would be.. you. Try lowering you brightness level and you should see a drop in its usage. As for system, I don't really see much going on there. 11% system usage isn't exactly far outside of the norm, none of your apps are overtaking things and the one thing that one would normally be odd would be high PIM usage, actually seems rather low. Maybe someone else has some suggestions for you.

Now, I, unfortunately, have high SYSTEM usage of the battery. Mine runs between 22 and 25% and I've never figured out why. Yours is running a nice 12 hours and only used 56% or so.

I really don't think many users get two days of use.

Well my battery saving is on. And it's always on.. So that the brightness is kept very low and so this won't be the problem for display consumption.

On a good day (getting notifications, answering 5-10 emails) and getting few calls, my battery held up for 7-9h, a full work day while having bluetooth, mobile network, WiFi turned on.

Have a look at the CPU usage. There may be an application running wild.

Also, have you rebooted your phone recently.

On the CPU screen, give it 10 seconds to settle down then look.

So, with the estimate and time running, it is about 14 hours. Depending on what you do with the phone, how many emails, calls, media really affects how long it will last. How bright you keep the screen also affects battery life and if you have a good connection with your carrier's aerials.

Your consumption numbers look pretty normal, as blaze said. As for estimated battery time left, forget that number, it's very inaccurate and is rarely correct.

Do you have any android apps loaded or have you activated the Amazon App Store? I have found, as many have, many android apps will launch themselves and run in the background, not showing up on your Device Monitor. That was happening to me and I loaded an android app killer to see what was going on. I deleted all android apps and my battery and CPU consumption improved significantly.

That is high. Unfortunately, I don't know what to do to bring up down. As I have noted, mine is generally about 24% and I don't know what causes it.

There has never been any explanation of what processes occur under the Title: System.

    Hi F2,
Try the hub refresh by diagonally swiping 4 times from top right corner... this should hopefully fix the high system usage.

I know its weird but there is something which causes high system usage and i found it fixed for me in a few minutes.

I will give this a try. Certainly can't hurt. How often do you do it? A few times a day?

Occasionally, I want to blame my carrier for low signal but I'm in a well-covered city with Verizon.

One thing I always do. When I add any new app is go to settings, app management. I check to make sure it is set to not run when minimized.
I check all mine for this.
