    Hi all

    First post on here so forgive me if it's a dumb question!

    I have a cracked screen so am looking to replace it, seems an easy enough DIY job!

    Question is, Z30 has an AMOLED screen but all the replacement screens I have come across are LCD, from my understanding, an LED and LCD screen are different.

    Is it just not possible to buy a super AMOLED replacement or am I missing something?

    From readings here, the Z30 screens come in two varieties. Those that fit MOST z30's and the ones that fit the slightly different Verizon model. Otherwise, it the place is legitimate, if it is a Z30 screen it should fit as long as you get the right one for YOUR model.

    Oh, and welcome to Crackberry. Hope the rest of your stay is more pleasant than a broken screen.

    Hey, thanks for the reply! Spotted that about the slightly different screens, down to the number of screws? I have 10 screws and guess Verizon is a carrier over there? We don't have Verizon here so would think I have the other version.

    Screens are quite easy to get hold of here but thanks for the tip. Have checked them out and they all say LCD too?

    I just replaced one of my my z30 screen. Pretty easy after watching this video

    Ordered from etradesupply.com. Then bought the right screw driver at computer store for about $5 Cdn.

    But the original question still remains... is the replacement screen bought from eBay or eTradeSupply, the same as original?

    yes it is, says in description down below. says its amoled.
