I have the same issue with the exact same SanDisk 64GB Micro SD card. I lose access to it anytime when I reboot my Z30.

What I do...is I open the back cover and pop the card out and then back in. This never happened when I first had this card.

And now for the hell of it...I did the SD CARD test on BBVE and this is what it says...

Open BBVE and click tests at center bottom
Suddenly can't access media files on sd card-img_20150407_080432.png

Go to choose a test at bottom
Suddenly can't access media files on sd card-img_20150407_075242.png

    Scroll to SD Card
Suddenly can't access media files on sd card-img_20150407_075312.png

    Follow the prompts
Suddenly can't access media files on sd card-img_20150407_075552.png

When I popped it in and out it said "SD Card was mounted and removed - FAIL"

What's weird is the card is still inserted and giving me full access to all my files just like any other external drive.

Like I said...when I lose access to the SD Card, I just pop it out and then back in and all's good again albeit BBVE saying that it was mounted and removed - FAIL

Hello all. My advice is take out the memory card 1st, and then try to access your file manager go to media card and if you get (you do not have permission) close it and then go to settings go. To storage and where it says format media card select yes and it will give you an. Error could format media card then put your. SD card back in and restart. Your phone. After restart goto file manager and select media card you should be A ok everything working fine. I tried it on my. Phone after. Scouring the Web without a solution. Thank you. Let me know how it goes for you all.

I just ran into this issue. The "fix," for me, was using my laptop instead of my desktop. Took right off and worked. So maybe the fix is rebooting the computer instead of the phone? (Note: I use Linux, so this may not be the same for Windows or Mac users.)

    I should also mention that I use a Q10 -- didn't realize this was a Z30 forum. Sorry.
