I work next to a Bell store. Going tomorrow to see if I can buy one out.

    Posted via CB10
That's what I'm doing too. You can't buy it out technically but you put it on a $27 month to month plan and cancel it. So it will cost you an additional $27

So will this work on Wind Mobile? They use AWS 1700/2100. But as I am not a Bell customer they wont sell to me, right?

I'm not a bell customer either and I'm going to get one.

Simply sign up for the $27 month to month plan and then cancel it. It is like a pay as you go plan so you will pay full price for the phone ($700).

So will the Bell model work with T-Mobile? I currently have the STL100-3 from Rogers that I am using on T-Mobile and I get 4G LTE signal.

It appears the Telus/Bell version (Sta100-5) will have LTE 850/1700/1800

    *edit
There really seems to be no consensus about this right now. kinda irritating

For thoses who want to buy the Z30 full price at 700$ at Bell and need to pay a monthly to monthly plan just to buy it.

Go to Telus, I buy mine today at 650$ and just walk out of the store and I was not ask to have at least a month to month plan.

Freaking love my Z30!! My Torch 9810 is now in my closet lol

Nope, I'm with Rogers. I just call them to change my BB plans to a normal data plan, put my sim in it and it was done.

    Everythings work fine.

Don't know if I was suppose to unlock it before my sim work. I don't have anything in the BB about Telus. So I guess they come unlocked in the box.

So you're with rogers and you just went to a telus store and bought it outright? No need to sign up for anything? You put your rogers sim in and boom, it worked?

On the Telus website it says it supports the 2600 band. So I guess for us Rogers guys, an unlocked Telus device is the way to go

Yes, I got LTE on the Z30 on Rogers and I buy it 650 + tx. I just came in the Telus Store in Place Rosemere, north of Montreal. Ask if they have receive the Z30, the girl say, I don't know. She ask the other guy who said yes and went to the backstore get one. The girl ask me to give her my phone number, but said I was with Rogers and I will unlock the phone to use it. She said perfect and sell it to me. She wanted me to buy a cover for the phone, but said no. That it

At home, I put my sim card in it and it work without anything else.

They don't have a demo unit in the store but a plastic one demo unit that you can have in your hand to feel what it looks like.
