Removed it from my pocket yesterday , and it seemed to go into a restart loop: screen displayed "BlackBerry " for a few moments, then 2 red flashes from the LED, then repeat. Tried the power button restart, then the vol up / down buttons. Took 3x on the vol buttons, but eventually came back. No issues today.
I have the OEM case with the flap to keep the screen covered.
Is this something to be concerned with, or just a fluke? Os 10.3.2.2226, unlocked, but running on t mobile network...
Buttons are free, and case doesn't interfere (OEM case). I'll go with "the fluke" theory for now. I get it that's it's software, and needs reboots, has goofy flukes, etc...
What bugged me a bit was that multiple "hard" reboots wasn't doing the trick to bring it back to life.
This is symptoms of the 'power button getting stuck'
Happens to newer made z30's.
The rear cover might be too tight around the power button. It's easy to sand it down luckily
I have to make sure my lock button is free. I have this issue with my flip case as well. I just give it a wiggle and it's good for a while, but if I lock my phone a few times it gets stuck again.

Its a problem with the power button on Z30. It gets stuck if not used carefully.
It's your OEM case. Make sure you removed the original back cover from the phone before fitting it in the case. If still not good you will have to cut out the power button opening in the case.
