I have a Z30 STA100-5 always on official 10.2.1.3062 bought from blackberry shop directly on Bell Ontario. Have been reading posts for the last 2 hours. So many complaints and bugs and this and that. Are these people with leaks? Should I update or wait?? Seriously im so confused I have been waiting for this for a long time and now i'm scared to update
Maybe not. The calendar is disappointing a lot of people. The sound level of Notifications and ring tones appear too low for some people. If you are in no rush, then wait for a while to see how things settle out.
thanks for the support!! ..............gonna do it now....lock and load.
I would strongly recommend a factory reset before you do the OTA upgrade.
Start from 0 and upgrade from there, it seems to be working the best that way.
Good luck!

It's a fresh new look. I love it! You can always downgrade if you wish to.
I'm having the same thought. Looking at the forum busy with complaints making me confused whether to hit the update button or not.

There is nothing "life or death" about the upgrade. Definitely postpone if you have qualms. It will be there tomorrow or the next day or week. And if there are significant issues, hopefully, BB will iron them out quickly.
Stability? I just updated on Thursday from leak 10.3.1.1154 to an official carrier OS 10.3.1.1581. This official version seems pretty stable to me with exception of my FastTube app not being able to play VEVO videos.
But the vibration issue when my phone rang is gone so that's good. And I used to have to swipe twice on a lock screen to show the keyboard when I picked up my phone. Now the keyboard automatically comes up when locked and I'm picking up my phone from a flat surface.
I would say backup your current OS via Link and then do the update. The new fresh OS far outweighs any of the "issues" that MANY have. The only problem I have since the upgrade is the rotation lock issue; I understand that BlackBerry is working on it and don't mind being patient for a few days.
I'm fine with having the lock off for now, fairly minor.
Loving nearly everything that 10.3.1 has over 10.2.1. If you're on the fence, I'd say just go get it already!!
