Sure, if that's what you want to do. Kind of seems like a good deal if it is unlocked, compatible with your carrier, in great shape, and if you like bb10.

I read some z30 international models will not use the latest LTE speeds etc. in the U.S. Do you know if it is true and if so which hardware model should I get?

of curiosity, what could you use on a Z30 to make a difference of 300 mb/s,150mb/s. eg. BBM video chat would work well on both...

10/21/17: I love BB, current shareholder, have/had all the phones and Z30 is my Fav BUT, i would not buy today for going forward. I bought three Z30s about January 2017, so I old have as backups but since the 10.3.3 update each of he units worked for about 2-3 months then could not access the Settings (Blank Screen) and now all three are useless.

Bought a new Z30 couple of months ago or so, for about $140US. Have a Detek50 and barely use it. Actually I do use the Dtek -- great Sonos controller.

Z30 is my favorite phone too. Shame it doesn't have the apps I need. I keep thinking I should sell it, but I might be sorry!! Using a Z10 as an emergency phone in my car because it's small.

I bought one for about $80 and am really happy I did. It's a backup for my Passport but in some ways it's better.

The screen is my favorite. The flick keyboard might be better than the physical keyboard. It just shows how great the engineers were at BlackBerry once upon a time.
