So I had posted before about not being able to find a live demo at the Eaton Centre last week for my friend. As it stands he is still looking so I went back and checked myself out of curiosity.

My take? It's a great phone there is nothing wrong with the screen. With regard to launching apps it's definitely faster and a bit cleaner.

We already now about the battery life, and the size was great. It's bigger for sure but it's also manageable.

Overall I was very impressed with it and have told him to go for it.

But for myself I think I will hold onto my Z10 a while longer. I am really enjoying it and with the official 10.2 on it now(downloaded two days ago) battery life has become excellent again.

I considered the Z30. Just seems that the Z10 is better size for me.

That's true some people with smaller hands it definitely be nice to have the 10 over the 30.

the Z30 isn't that much bigger then the Z10 is in over all size, its like puttign a case on it, but i can see how the largers screen may make it more difficult to reach to the top corner with one hand.
for me it doesn't bother me i have pretty big hands but for others i can see how a smaller size is better, a co worker of mine actually prefers his iPhone4 size to his new 5S

I think the biggest benefit the Z10 has over the Z30 is the size of the phone when held to your ear.

I've been on calls for over an hour with the Z10 and Z30. The size of the Z10 is just much more comfortable to hold on hand. I should probably start using my Bluetooth headset when on long phone calls using the Z30.

Good choice to move away from holding the phone to your ear for extended calls. The Z10/Z30 don't have the best SAR rating. I work from home and my Z30 is my only phone, so I'm on it hours every day. Quite often I'm on it for conference calls that go for 4 hours or more. I never put the phone to my ear, unless its for very short periods of time, quickly moving to a headset.
