I've had two Z30's and on both of them I've had a problem with the screen rotation. Specifically, when I'm in portrait and switch to horizontal to review my email, it frequently won't revert back to portrait. Is there a way to turn it or shake it that will make it go back to portrait view?....this happens about half the time. Sometimes I have to do a hard reset to fix it, but then it reoccurs. Any fixes? Btw, I'm using OS 10.2.1.2180....thanks!

Just suggesting, load the new leak 10.2.1.2947 it's great on my Z30

Did it happen on other OS's or just since you loaded this one?

My 9860 was notorious for this problem and it drove me crazy. It was one of the many reasons I only had that phone for a few months.

I don't have a Z30, but my Z10 has had almost every leak and official OS on it since last February and I have not had an issue with screen rotation.

Latest VZN release (10.2.1.2126) : swipe down from top or otherwise get to Rotation Lock: problem solved!

My rotation locks up once a week or so randomly. My solution is odd but it works...I simply start Netflix.

For some reason Netflix will rotate when nothing else will. Once it rotates once, all other apps will rotate. weird. Maybe being an Android app has something to do with why it doesn't lock when everything else does.

My girlfriend has a Z10, SLT100-4, her phone never rotates to horizontal. Of course, the rotation blocking option is off. For certain games the phone switches to horizontal. This Z10 is just three months old. Please help!
