Get a clear screen protector. It won't affect the clarity and will take the brunt of scratches. most anti-glare protectors seem to add a grainy effect to the screen.
A screen protector, like a case, is much cheaper than replacing a broken screen ($30+ plus downtime, warranty claims...).

Agreed

My Q10 fell several times with the screen toward the ground. I changed the scratched screen protector film. The device screen remained unscratched like new!

Go with a screen protector.... i put my Z30 in my pocket by mistake along with car keys the screen came out with a scratch. sad to say,yes problably cheap to replace but the cost of a screen protector is much less.
**** naked is too risky. I go naked with the screen protector. I can deal with bums on the body here and there but a scratch on my screen drives me crazy.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. So I think I will go with a screen protector. But which to choose?? I've seen some where you can still see some smudging and fingerprints...any suggestions??

I always use one. If you get a good quality one and apply it will it looks great. I find the glossy protectors feel better to interact with than the matte ones.
I use a tempered glass screen protector. At first, it feels awkward how thick it is, but then touching the screen feels natural, just thicker. But it's great.
I've actually dropped my phone a bunch of times, and at about the nth time, there was a crack... on the screen protector and not the screen.
Mine has been screen protected since day one. I even got a pair of screen protectors from BlackBerry for the Z30 that I haven't touched, if ever the one I'm using now peel off. It has acquired quite a lot of tiny scratches over time. Just imagine if you don't have one.
I would get one. I am sold on using them. I use the military grade screen protectors on all of my devices (there may be something better out there). I dropped a hammer from 3 feet onto my phone laying on the floor with the claw hitting the screen and did no damage other than marring the screen protector (not on purpose).
I occasionally take my Z30 out of it's Otterbox Defender case while at home, because I get a better typing experience, but for the most part it stays in it's protective case.

It's the old 'you can pay me now or you can pay me later commercial'. Pay a little now for a screen protector or a lot later when you drop and break your screen. Your choice...
