    Seems my screen is brighter at the bottom of the device above the silver bezel. I see it in the crack Berry app as well as settings app. I wouldn't expect this as the display is amoled and shouldn't need a back light as I understand.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Try taking a photo with your palm covering the entire camera lens, to produce a black screen. Does it still show the bright spot?

    It could be that the CB10 and Settings apps use a gradient background by design.
