There are a few threads out there reporting several issues with the extreme pro versions of SanDisk Micro SD memory cards.
I went through most of them and noticed that all the memory sizes of the Extreme Pro have different issues on the Z30. I feel the need to put the message out there to the forum members to avoid buying the Extreme Pro memory for their Z30 and avoid the risk.
I haven't really heard/read anything about the 8GB one because is too small i guess, but i know for a fact that the 16GB (i own this one and it doesn't work properly on my Z30) the 32GB and the 64GB have some level of issues. By issues i mean that some files become corrupted and unusable, or that the Z30 doesn't recognize it and you have to reset the phone in order to make it work.
Some members said that the memory worked fine for them, but there aren't that many of them i think (correct me if im wrong), but i think it is better to stick to the SanDisk Ultra versions in the mean time until BlackBerry does something about it... if they ever do something about it....
I myself was about to buy a 64GB extreme pro SD today to verify if it was only the lower capacity cards that had issues, but then i asked a BBM group friend (who owns one) if his card had any issues, and he told me that sometimes he had to reset his phone in order to make it work. It really sucks because the Extreme Pro SD are the best and i love them because they're super durable...
(Do not use ExFAT) formatting problem may be the cause?
I rely on the device formatting method. http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...pacity-763666/
I have a 64GB SanDisk 64GB Ultra microSDXC in my Z30 and all is fine.
