My new Z30 arrived yesterday and I was trying to figure out the most painless way to swap devices. Did a full backup of Z10 and restored it to the Z30. The Z30 does not have a SIM as of now. Am planning to move the SIM from Z10 to Z30 this evening after work.

The Z10 is on Software Release 10.2.1.3014 and OS Version 10.2.1.3337.

The Z30 came with Software Release 10.2.1.3062 and OS Version 10.2.1.3442.

Is doing what I have done okay? So far as I can tell all my BlackBerry World apps as well as Android apps have been restored. The only exception being Snap - which I will need to sideload. Even all of my contacts are available on my new Z30.

Is there any risk in doing what I have done? There are a couple of things I am not liking compared to the Z10 but will post that in another thread.

No real risk to it. It would seem as though you're one of the cases where everything moved as it should have vs. screwing up somewhere along the line.
