Hey everyone!

I want to replace my blackberries Z30 screen after an unfortunate break!
I'm wondering about the parts as there's several versions of the Blackberry (STA100-1/2/3/4/5)

I have the STA100-5 - are all the screens the same ? or they differ ?

Would you recommend buying this one ?

I don't remember which model number is has, but the Verizon model's screen is not compatible with the rest of the models

The screen for the American carrier Verizon doesn't work with 100-5.

They look different in the back. The photo on eBay shows a compatible screen. I've gotten a couple screens from eBay with no problems.

I paid 30.25 USD + free shipping.

STA100-3 is the Verizon model.
The differences are, mainly due to the Verizon Z30 having a QI wireless charging system, the screw pattern that holds the device all together.
As the screws are in different locations from the other Z30 models, the internals are also different, having the holes in places to match the frames.
An additional difference in the Verizon model is the location of the latches for the rear cover, so the STA100-3 rear cover does not interchange with the other models and the flip covers that attach in place of the rear cover also do not interchange.
The only interchangeable parts between all Z30 models are the small sub parts, like the camera, mic/speakers, battery, buttons, and such.

So, in a nutshell:

• Large parts either STA100-3-Only or STA100-All Others.
• Small parts STA100-All.

Then you do NOT need the Verizon version and can pick the other screen replacement types. Good luck.
