Hi, I have a friend who will be going to Malaysia next week and I have asked her to get me the z30 if possible!!

But I just want to know if there are any different versions etc. that I should be aware of? I don't want to end up in a STL-1 kinda position. I am currently using STL-2 so as long as the z30 is something similar it will be fine with me!

I am not really sure how else to phrase my question/concerns. Hopefully someone have the relevant information to let me know? Thanks!!!

Don't think they are making a stl-1 version. Here in the uae where that was also the official one ( I have one) the official shop selling the z30 has the model listed with 4g( lte) , so basically has all bands. Don't think BlackBerry wants to end up making so any different types of models anymore for different regions. (probably cost too much, easier to produce one model to be able to move unsold inventory to all markets). But then again I could be wrong, but u doubt it. Uae has had 4g for ages and I still wonder why they came out with the 3g model z10 here.
