The back doors silver side piece line up with the rest of the side of the phone....in some photos its lined up personally in others its kinda crooked. Is this something that is hit an miss with individual units you buy? Maybe post your side photos of that door so I can see how they look. Cheers.

I'm on Verizon and the side of the door that covers the sim card and the SD card DOES stick out a bit, it's not completely flush. BUT, it is not noticeable to me.

Agreed. If you got your eyes 2 inches from it and looked hard, then no its not flush. However you have to look really close for or otherwise you wouldn't even notice.

Thanks for the post guys really appreciate it, I also was wondering I saw a n4bb video where lucas talked about the icons being more jaggety on z30 up close then the z10, now I think that was more a icon sizing issue rather then actual ppi issue....but I was wondering if thats still a thing, and also he mentioned the screen is dimmer even maxed compared to z10, im wondering if those "issues" were solved in subsequent z30 updates. Cheers.

I think it's the difference in screen technologies.

The Z10 and Q5 appear brighter than the Z30 and Q10 because of the AMOLED screen used on the latter phones.

And the colors on the Z30 look more saturated. Like the oranges and reds are way more intense. I am getting used to it, but at first I kept looking on how to turn the color (not warmth) down. :-)

I think I know what you're talking about, because I noticed the same on my phone after opening it up to put in my micro SD card.

What it actually meant for me was that I didn't have the door snapped on right. Once I did, it lined up fine.
