It is toughened glass, not Gorilla Glass. Gorilla Glass is just Corning's brand name. Nothing special. Basically the same stuff on most high end devices.

Seems to be pretty good - I haven't been too careful with mine and no scratches....[watch now that I've said that one big ol' scratch is comin' my way ] - meanwhile with Guerilla glass I wasn't soo lucky

It is not temperature glass. I dropped my wife's new z30 on the concrete garage floor and there is a crack in the screen. It still works but my local repair shop said they could not yet order a replacement screen

Even tempered/toughened/Gorilla glass can crack. No glass is unbreakable. Ever see a seagull hit a jet cockpit window?
