I figured I'd start this because I think for many of us this is going to be a more drastic change than a Z10 to Z30. Who can comment out there on their experience? Phone too big? Keyboard easy to type on? Let loose please. There's a VZ store just up the street.

I have the Q10,z10 and the Z30. For me the calls texts and emails begin at roughly 5 am and continue on until at least 1030pm. I own two companies so usage is extreme I think. Right now I am using the z30 which can last me that whole time some days and some days I have to plug in around 7 pm to giver some extra juice which really charges fast.. the Q and the z 30 I would have a battery drained by about 2 in the afternoon so I would switch out batteries. The thing I like about the Q is its always 1 step quicker. I'm an impatient person so that speeds things up. The z30..well it's just a work horse. Plain and simple.. the typing is fantastic the sound is great. It doesn't heat up. Only problem I have is earpiece speaker isn't loud enough in some conditions. The q10 I had to send back to BlackBerry for os reflash and now again for a blown earpiece speaker.. the z10 I had a lot of lag. The z30 I dropped 1 day after u bought it, it hit the concrete floor from 6' on bottom left corner, dented the bezel glass not a scratch or crack..so she's tough too! overall I'm very happy with the Z30 out of the 3.

Z30 killed physical keyboards for me. I still love a good physical keyboard, but not at the cost of screen size.

Had the q10 wanted the keyboard am so I switched to the Q and now I have the z30 and not missing anything about the q10

I've been playing with it at my local vz store and for a physical keyboard lover the phone is solid. You can pretty much type like a blind person and you would get almost every word right with auto correct on. Its amazing

Not sure. Probably Bell,Telus and Rogers. I'll be getting my Z30 unlocked through the BlackBerry EPP. $399 sweet.

i went from the Q10 to the Z30, no way am i going back to the Q, i actually cannot picture anyone going back to the Q.

To me BB10 feels much better on the bigger screen, typing is brilliant, i can type much faster on the Z30 believe it or not. Having the big screen actually works for me, emails are much easier and faster to read/compose, the battery life is the best of any smartphone i have used.

Q10 is gathering dust rapidly, i need to stick it on ebay.

Yep. The Z30 is staying in my pocket as favorite. Q10 is my backup as SaskTel only provides an old data phone while unit is getting repaired. Z10 I gave to my mom for being awesome..she loves it!

good thread.... excellent to hear all your opinions.... the Q10 really is good looking though, and hopefully won't be the last kb phone, it's so BlackBerry... the Z30 is growing in me every time I go to the store to check it out.

Switched over from q10 to z10 just to try it out. Fell in love with the virtual keyboard that I ended up buying the z30. Never looked back since.

I wish the z30 was smaller. I just can't imagine using a phone that big. Not a good fit for lady pockets.

I was one of those guys who was against big phones but I couldn't resist the z30 for some reason. After having this phone for about a week, size of the phone doesn't bother me at all surprisingly. It fits perfectly in my jeans, jacket etc. (I wear lots of business attire). I don't think I'll be able to go back to a smaller screen anymore

I dont know how I survived on the Q10 screen. The Z30 screen is gorgeous and way better than the Q10

The battery life lasts way longer than the Q10, which also had an amazing battery life.

Weight didnt bother me as it felt more solid. I dont use a case... just a screen protector. The glass weave doenst require a case.

After more than a week on the Z30, I've come to the conclusion it is the best BB ever and i will never go back to the Q10.

Finally just on the typing experience- it takes 5 days to get used to, but once u get a handle on it, it is perfect. Im very accurate on it. the screen is big which helps. The apple iphone screen is too tiny. The screen size is better than the z10.

Initially i am using Z10 then switch to Q10. Ater a few months i found out that i have to wear glasses in order to read (getting old ) . I have no choice to find a bigger screen, the logical choice is Z30 and off course i am not regretting switching to it...
