Noobie here. I just got my Z30 a couple of days ago, and I am a little puzzled about the Photo Gallery app. Is there any way to set it so that "recent" isn't the default view when starting it up? I would love it if "Albums" could be set as the default view.

I see that the other media apps are the same, Music and Video as well -- when I open these apps, I get "Recent" by default and I would LOVE to be able to change this...

Yup. It remembers which tab at the bottom you choose. Leave it on Albums and it will open up in the albums view. Mine does anyway!!

Thanks. But on mine it doesn't remember. I wish it did. I have to leave the gallery on the open apps screen in order for it to stay on the Albums tab. Maybe there's a setting in there somewhere?

Confirmed it does here: Z30STA100-2/10.2.1.1925.

As a new Z30 owner (welcome, btw!) have you updated your phone to the latest software release, if available on your carrier?

You have to be on 10.2.1.

For some reason I can't seem to get the 10.2.1 update. I keep checking via all avenues I know (phone, Blackberry Link, etc.) but it keeps telling me that 10.2.0.262 is the latest release.

I'm on Verizon, and I keep reading about people who have had 10.2.1 pushed to them but I've not seen it. It's a little annoying...
