Welcome to Crackberry!!!! Bumping this so that folks with a Z30 can assist.
The problem that I have found is that when the adapter has more than one function (eg dnla, widi, air play, and mirracast). It works in conjunction with an application. These android apps I have found don't work. (like ez cast). When I have set the stick to mirracast using an android phone then the z30 was able to connect to it. So I'm guessing any stick that is exclusively mirracast the z30 wouldn't have a problem connecting with.
