    I updated my Z30 and my Passport OS to 10.3.1.1767. Now Play Store stopped working. It asks me to check my connection. Is there an updated patch, and will it be necessary to patch after every update.

    That message indicates, that you have no valid GSF ID. Run Blackberry Google ID and checkin your device.
