My phone got soaked yesterday. I dried it of and took the battery cover off. Some moisture there. Left door off. Phone was working for awhile (10 min). Then battery symbol appeared on screen. Nothing working. Red light would come on for 10 seconds then off for ten seconds. Plugged it in over night did that all night once I unplugged it no. More light no anything. Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions......

Place the phone, battery and all components in a bag of rice (uncooked) and leave it there for three days.
Then try it again after a few days.

Echoing Jaydee: Leave it in for a day or two, then another 48 hours just to be sure. Turning it on with any moisture present is asking for it to short out.

Just to clear any misinformation. if the battery was shorted from a full charge it would have blown up. So no, the battery isn't shorted but another internal component has failed due to the water ingress. it could be the Voltage regulators have failed, so changing the battery of the Z30 would not bring it back to life. Anyway leave it in a bag longer and wait for the fluid to fully evaporate, then try to turn it on.

You could try installing a Flux Capacitor but you will need a 1.21 gigawatt power pack and get your phone moving at 88 mph

I've been through that. Bring it to a shop and have them run the water removal treatment on it. Even if you are able to turn it on after a few days of drying, the circuit board can still short later on because of contaminants that have deposited on the circuit board. Mine was fine for a few weeks and then started randomly rebooting...I ended up bringing it in for treatment and had it done twice...
