I bought my accessories before my z30 even arrived, I have a habit of this with all my devices so I'm good to go from day one. I can say thankfully I am not very clumsy, only dropped my iphone 5 once which was through no fault of my own (stupid busy commuters at the train stn made me drop it out of my hand, however the z30 is much more comfortable to grip and doesn't feel like it'll just slip out!)

I use the leather pouch and a skinomi screen protector. Ordered from amazon UK so it was free shipping and paid no additional fees/taxes. I'm ballsy enough to go naked (best way to go!) but I must must must have a screen protector because you just never know! Even those tiny scratches that develop out of nowhere annoy me!

I am using an Otterbox Commuter which adds a bit more bulk and weight than I would have liked, but at least I know it's protected. I just know I'm going to drop this thing plenty with my small hands.

I have a habit of buying expensive screen protectors like Zagg and then ripping them off after a few weeks because I just can't stand the feel. I think I'm going to skip it this time because honestly, in all my many years of owning Blackberries I have never once put even the smallest scratch on a glass screen. The lip on the Commuter will prevent the glass from hitting the ground.

I'm using the BlackBerry Leather Pocket and don't have a screen protector.

My case of choice: the BlackBerry Belt Clip Holster. Tried, tested, and true. No screen protector on my device, as when it is not in my hand being used as a tool of knowledge and entertainment, it is hidden away in my holster or it is on a surface from which it cannot fall unless someone were to pick it up and throw it.

You're right about the Z10's Transform Case feeling like it's made from better quality rubber; the Z30 version has a stiffer plastic feel. The kickstand also is made differently and although it can do both portrait and landscape it seems to slowly close itself and all of a sudden my phone is flat on its back. I think it's a case of the hinge needing to loosen up a bit with usage (only have had it on for a couple of days) .

I've been using the Skinomi case for almost a week now. I like it. The directions seem a little odd but they have the Skinomi Awareness Program where they send you a free kit if you buy one. If you mess it up, the spare will come in handy. I didn't do a fantastic job putting it on but I can only tell when the display is off. It is one of the few that I managed to find that has the proper cut outs for the Z30 while covering the entire glass surface. I have a transform case on the way so I can't comment on it but like you, I struggled to find a case. I think the Otterbox cases are nice but I don't know about adding all that bulk to the phone (plus I couldn't find any in stock other than through Verizon, ugh).

For my 10 year old son on the other hand, Trident Aegis case and Steinheil Ultra Clear screen protector....i have to say the Steinheil went on PERFECTLY the first try, no bubbles at all, no trapped dust, straight, just perfect! It's nice and thick and still feels pretty much like glass. Highly recommended!

Used to be my choice but dropped it in the holster a few times and it always seems to land on the one unprotected corner of the phone. They need to fix that with a wider top flap to cover the entire top of the phone before I ever use one of those again.
