I am curious: As a small business owner I carry my note 4 as my driver and my z30 as my messaging device. I also own a q10 and s5 Samsung. Is it just me who constantly changes sim cards on their phones depending on what mood I feel on the day? Are they many others who dabble with multiple phones? Obviously money would not really be an issue for such people as for me, I buy them outright. I am even thinking of buying a passport too. My wife thinks I am crazy and has given up on me in this area. I must have the phone itch. Any people who can relate to me?

Well the only problem i see is , once you start using the passport, your going to sell the other ones, i have tried using a couple but it last a very short time before returning to the passport

I'm also a businessman and have the privilege of being able to purchase outright, really don't have a choice anyway because phones on contracts do not exist with the networks in my country. I use a PassPort and a Nexus 5, always a qwerty and a full touch Android. The qwerty always for messaging, I do a lot of emails, texts and IM's. The full touch for multimedia stuff, calls and CamScanner used daily.

As much as I also tend to suffer from technolust what you call a phone itch, I tend to look at my purchases from a business perspective and avoid tying down money in things that depreciate in value rapidly. It is very difficult I must admit because I love gadgets in general not just phones, but there's nothing like some hard times to teach a man some discipline!

Me too, I have a Z30, Note 4 and an HTC One. No matter which I use, it bugs me to see the others not being used. My wife also says 'Your not looking at phones again are you???' haha

BlackBerry Z10 and HTC One, both unlocked, no contracts, both sync everything from my online email accounts, contacts, calendars, dropbox, etc. For business communications I prefer BlackBerry just because of the HUB, for anything else HTC is a better device.

Yep, all BlackBerry must say for the phones. Q10, Z10 and Z30. Accompanied by a Nexus7 tablet with bluetooth keyboard for note taking with customers.

I tend to switch between the Q and Z's quite often. I truly love the small size of the Q but love the multimedia capabilities of the Z as well.

I also just switch the sim and all other things are cloud/ server based. Contacts on exchange, notes on Evernote, files in Dropbox and SDcard. Only WhatsApp has to be switched between the devices.

I have been using Z30 for two months. Previously using Curve 9360 for e-mail and calls (have BES International roaming on it) and Galaxy Note 2 for meetings, taking notes, multimedia content consumption. Sometimes if I feel want to go light I just use one phone, which is my old Nokia E51.

So far I feel Z30 is pretty good for communication, not as as intuitive as Note 2 with its S-Pen.

    3.Sony Xperia ZL
4.Q5 up for sale I never use it.
    5.Z10
    6.Z30 my main device
    7.Classic I just sold it
    8.Passport up for sale

I tend to switch to Xperia just for a different look and feel ,but the Z30 is the beast...

    Own multiple phones?-img_20140914_122419.jpg

I am not a business user but I have multiple BlackBerry phones ready since I need to be ready if one of them needs repair.

Currently, my Q10 is being repaired from my carrier.

My main number is now in my Z30, I have my other 2 lines on Z10s. All are synced to my emails, which is my primary means of messaging.

I find typing and viewing emails on my z10 easier when in landscape and text on my Z30 easier in portrait.

I just forward the calls from my main number to my backup numbers.

    Business user also.
    Using only the Z30 now.
Because of the HUB, messaging, battery and all around quality.

Note 3 which I gave my girlfriend.. q10 I had on sprint that for some reason is unlockable. Passport which I'm considering sending back to amazon as I'm having an awesome time using the z30. And lastly old faithful... gold RAZR v8 phone for when I don't feel like having any forms of technology on me but need a phone for emergency calls while on holiday.

Galaxy Tab pro for multimedia consumption.

Don't necessarily need to be on the higher end of the spectrum to flip between phones. As a recent post-gaduate, I have the Q5, 9300, Nokia 3310, Samsung D600 and an iPad Mini. Q5 the daily driver, 9300 for when I go places where security might be an issue, 3310 for travelling abroad, don't really use the Samsung anymore.

So really anyone could potentially relate.

I have a Z10 (main number), a Q10 (second number), and a Note II (wifi at home). I'll be adding a Z30 on the 13th and will swap the SIM out of the Z10. Since I'm on VZW, sadly I won't be getting the Passport unless they decide to carry it in the coming months. Not really interested in the Classic.

I only bought the Note because I got impatient waiting for the Q10 to hit VZW and wanted some new technology. Finally the Q10 arrived which I bought on upgrade, then the Z10 full price from Amazon.

I just never warmed to the Android OS and rarely use the Note. Nothing seems to compare to the proficient ease of BB10.

I have "technolust" for sure. I recently went through a phase of purchasing old legacy blackberries just for fun. Got most of them on ebay second hand for meagre price tags. Just generally had fun playing around, restoring them and tinkering.

8900 curve (my first bb bought brand new)
    8520 curve
9000 Bold (restored housing and trackball)
9780 Bold (retro fitted with 9700 silver bez)
    9720 curve "Samoa"
2nd 8900 curve (bought bricked and revived!)
    Q10 (previous daily driver)
Z30 (most recent acquisition and daily driver)

I'm considering a Q5 or Classic at some point when I have a little disposable Income to spare!

My Z30 is my first EVER full touch device and I would not have converted at all if not for the awesome virtual qwerty. I can easily say that this Z30 is one of the best phones I have ever had, especially running 10.3.1.1154 leak.

I tend to agonise a little over which phone to use as they all have certain qualities that attract me and certain deficiencies that deter me. I can't be doing with switching devices regularly as messing around with my sim / memory cards and keeping app consistency across my devices just seems like too much hassle! (and I don't know how others deal with this!)

Never had the need for multiple phones. Not a business owner but still can do all i need to on my Z30, would never have more than one phone going at once anyway. Can't afford to buy extra ones either...lol

In the last year I've owned a Z10, Q5, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6+, OnePlus One, HTC One M7, HTC One M8 and a Nexus 5. Sold all of them except my 5S (MIL is using it now), my 6+ (daily driver) and my Nexus 5 (backup phone if I ever need to cash in my AppleCare). That's on top of using a GS3, Optimus G, GS4, GS5 and a note 3 provided by my company that I ALSO carry every day.

    Yeah, I feel ya lol

    Edit
That's not including my 8130, 8330, and Palm Pixi Plus I still own for nostalgia, and my iPad Air LTE.

    I have a work issued iPhone 6.
Never used it since I linked my mail to my z30.
I also configured it to get all calls forwarded to my z30.
Screw going around with two phones.

This is a great thread loll.

I had in my possession at one point last year, the Q5 (red and black), Q10 (both colors and eventually the Gold edition too), Z10 (all 3 variants), and Z30 (both colors).

    I'm now down to the 9900, 9780, Z10 (red), Z30 (black), Moto G, and recently a Passport.

    Just sold off a OPO.

I'm learning to cool it down that's for sure.
