Z30 fell about 2 feet from my end table to the tile floor and smashed the screen like crazy. And this was WITH a Transform case on! Be careful with your Z30's folks!

Seems it is going to be 200+ to get the screen replaced too.

No screen protector, but a Transform case which should have kept the glass off the ground. It had come partly off as part of the impact it seems.

Not sure. But the corner of the Transform case had come off when I picked it up. Almost seems like the case slipped off at impact?

Kind of disappointed as i've never had this type of problems with these types of cases in the past.

i dropped my z30 yesterday onto hardwood, but it hit a chair first before it hit the ground.

the screen protector is damaged. i'm glad i put that Skinomi screen protector on it.

My device had fallen twice, both times screen down. Thankfully it falls at "kinda" perfect 180 degrees angle so the screen is still perfect, without any case.

I hope you can get a replacement

Well at least a Z30 is the easiest screen replacement I've ever done. 10 screws, 1 cable no glue. Way simpler than a Q10

I know on the Z10 is the screen cracks, even if it still works, it does not respond to touch. Is it the same for all BB10 phones? Or just the Z10?

My friend has a very cracked q10 and it works fine, i cant speak for the z30.

That is the thing, the Z10 case was totally bomber and really stuck like glue to the phone. The Z30 Transform case? Not so much it seems.
