I know I'm a heavy user but I've disabled push options in my two email accounts, set brightness to the lowest and I use black background for most apps and I still need to charge it up about twice a day

I do however have kik & instagram sideloaded and I use kik a lot.

Do you think it's because of kik & instagram?

    I'm on official 10.2.0.429

I find that android ports on my Q10 such as Poynt cause my battery to die quicker. I cannot validate this 100% but that's my experience.

    Good luck!

I think the older os's did not work well with the apps like those. Try the newest leak it's pretty dam good.
One thing I leave my brightness right where it is when you load a leak and I use push on all three of my emails. I don't use the apps you mentioned and my Z30 easily last a full day with 30-40 % left at 10-11 at night.

I'm waiting for the official 10.2.1 update because leaks are too buggy for me, I've installed the latest leak on my z10 and I have experienced some sort of lag while typing on android ports. Hope it comes out soon. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Kik was a battery sucker on my z10. I just told my kik contacts to install bbm instead, voila.

I don't use kik, but I had mine on since 6:30am. It's now 9:30pm and been using my Z pretty much all day long. Only half way there until the battery is drained.

I'm a heavy user and easily power through a whole day until late at night.

How long have you had the device set up for? It sounds like something is definitely wrong if you're charging twice a day with push disabled and brightness low.

I have everything MAX and it keeps powering on endlessly...

I think you're confused about how true push works. Enabling it should actually save your battery. With push enabled the phone is passive, receiving mail that is " pushed" to it from the client email server. The phone does use some power when it receives pushed mail, but nowhere near what "check&fetch" does. With push disabled the phone actively "checks and retrieves " mail at the intervals you choose. Obviously the shorter the intervals the more the phone is performing functions which increases power consumption. That's always been one of the great features of true push service. I would never use other than push due to the shorter time interval between sent and received mail and the battery savings it provides.

Is that on 10.2.1? My official10.2.0.429 only provides CPU and Memory Information under the device monitor.

If your 4G is on it really can kill your battery. And yes, Android ports are quite a battery killer in my experience as well.

That's weird because I can't kill my battery with my moderate usage consisting of about 500 BBM, 50 email from various accounts all on push and sync every 30 mins, about an hour of calls, and listening to music all day, checking CB every hour, and some browsing at lunch hour. My phone is on at 7:30am till around 11pm and still got 30+% left.

Google maps was a battery drainer and heated my phone up. Deleted it. My daughter has Kik on her Z10 with the 1925 installed. Her battery has been good.
