I've noticed that the screen colour looks a little off. On low brightness just below halfway my blacks have like a red tint to them, which is very noticeable in dark areas. When full brightness is on it looks normal. Is this just normal with the amoled screens compared to the LCD which I had with my Z10.

Another thing I noticed is I cannot run any android apps as they have that blue loading bar at the bottom of the screen and just shutdown randomly before even starting. I thought of just waiting to upgrade to 10.3.1 to hope it solves the problem but now Z30's are not even getting this rollout atm.

There are definitely colour differences between the two. Whites are not as bright on the Z30, however darks are a lot more vibrant than on the Z10. Not sure why your blacks would be red though. Put them side by side, the Z10 is a lot brighter, but sometimes appears to be "washed out" compared to the Z30.

Had the same problem when I tried to Device Switch from Z10 to Z30. From what people tell me, the Device Switch also copies across Z10 Android runtime files that are incompatible with the Z30 (stupid BBLink!)

Only solution was to factory reset, copy across only contacts, then manually reload everything else.

After you backup when you reload for new OS just keep BlackBerry. Runtime checked off when h you load the old backup this will give you problems if he load the old runtime.

So factory reset and do a full backup without runtime.
