Here in Canada BestBuy.ca does offer the Z30, but through Telus (Canadian carrier).

In addition, here in Canada "Radio Shack" is now known as "The Source," and they carry the Z30. You can also try Canadian retailer "FutureShop," which also has Z30.

Note: FutureShop is now owned by BestBuy Canada. All three major Canadian carriers also carry the Z30 both in store and on their Web sites (Bell.ca, Telus, Rogers). You can buy the Z30 outright, although I don't know if it will work on all U.S. Carriers. I know some Americans have bought the Z30 from Telus and it has worked with their local carrier. Note that there are at least 5 versions of the Z30.

I thought Verizon stores NOT stocking Z30s was the norm and not the exception? Online ordering from VZW has always been the way to go, as I've learned.

When they were first released our local VZW had them in stock, they even brought one out of the back for me to try when the demo battery was dead, and two of my co-workers bought directly from the store. BUT when I finally decided to go for it a few weeks later they were sold out and weren't sure they would restock, but they did order me one and I had it the next day. Now I don't think any VZW stores stock them, so you have to order through the store or online.
