Recently made the switch from a Z10, and there are no whatsapp toast notifications! The option to turn them on is missing!

All other toasts work great!

I'm on the latest official 10.2.0.429 OS from my carrier

The way we turn on Instant Previews (a.k.a toast notifications) option is using an API that lets us set our app's "default notification settings." This API only exists in 10.2+, and only lets us call it once. It also might not work if you've changed the app's notification settings manually after installing it, but before upgrading to 10.2 (or a 10.2-supporting build of our app).

Now that you're confused, here are some suggested ways of fixing the problem:

• Make sure you're using the latest version of our app, which means you installed an update *after* switching to a 10.2 device
• If that doesn't work, deleting and reinstalling the app should work

In fairness the what's app people have been pretty great to BlackBerry and responsive. And if notifications aren't working it's because BlackBerry still has some kinks to work out. Regardless of how you feel about bbm vs what's app, I would say it's not fair to suggest that bbm is superior because they don't have this bug. It is, after all, still a blackberry bug.

Those that didn't are sure not communicating with me anymore because I deleted that what's it's called again...lol. BBM or none for me
