This is my 10th year of owning a BB. Trying the other major phones left me frustrated in both the operation of their OS and handling of my email messages. I could give or take all the other "apps" and games, I just want rock solid message support. And the occasional internet search / FB binge. And I really need to see it on a display that's larger than an over sized postage stamp.
I held off as long as I could replacing my 9930 with the Z30. The main reason was support of the PlayBook.
But with my 9930 suffering memory leaks and now psychotic text message behavior, it is time to move up.
My local Verizon rep rolled her eyes and said that they had no phones in stock. Nor was there one at any store within a large radius... So she ordered it for me and it arrives Friday.
I hope that BB10 and the large screen will make me forget the promise of the older BB phones and PlayBook....

It's amazing. You will be very happy. You actually won't care for the PlayBook anymore since the z30 is so large and fast.

I've heard a number of good things from folks that own the Z30, not just in passing. You'll probably be surprised at how comfortable a 5" screen can feel, but still be comfortable carrying in a pocket, unless you have an affinity for skinny jeans.

I'm sure there will be some short learning curve and time to get use to BB10 and the size of the Z30, but trust me, you won't be disapointed. I absolutely love my Z30! This is after owning the Torch, 9900, playbook and Z10. The Z30 is the best device on the market, hands down.
