The upgrade to my Torch 9850 was delivered today from Verizon. I waited a while to upgrade, even though I was eligible almost a year ago. I just really really liked the Torch. It was the third BB I had following the Storm and Storm 2. My wife got the Z10 last year, and I loved it. I've been studying quietly since the first specs came out for the Z30, hoping that I would eventually get one.

I love love love the Z30! It is truly beautiful, both in looks and interface. I will diligently perform my thumb stretching exercises every day, all day. The Z30 is quite the step up in size over the 9850, but I adapt well to new stuff.

Now I'll wait sort of patiently for 10.2.1 but in the meantime, I have a ton of exploring to do.

It's fun to be giddy again.

I'll agree with that! I've been carrying an iPhone and Blackberry together for the last 4 years, including a 5S and Q10 most recently. When the Z30 launched, I was finally able to consolidate back to 1 smartphone for everything. Though like many I do miss the keyboard—time for a Q30!

Did you order your Z30 online? Do they or will they ship to your house and can you activate your phone from home or do you have to go in to a Verizon store? I hate verizon stores and would like to avoid them after my last attempt at buying a Z30 so I'm seeing what my options are now.

I ordered mine online from Verizon, had it delivered to me at work (signature required) and activated from NY office with no problem. No need to go to a store.

Got my Z30 today and up dated to official 10.2.1 from official 10.2.0.1521 and I have to say it's faster and more responsive than my Z10 that was running the leak. Volume buttons and middle button are a bit sensitive though but apart from that I'm happy with my upgrade.

I have the Tylt charger on my nightstand. I believe it was half off before Christmas. Anyway, it was for my droid and now my z30. It works great even with the Commuter case on it.

Exactly. I don't know if it was just arrogance or some genius strategy that's yet to play out. Could be just lack of funding. Either way, it certainly seems like an opportunity lost.

Nothing to be ashamed of. The phone is amazing and there is so much Wifi everywhere. I consider myself a real heavy user and haven't cracked 5GB yet and that was trying! Welcome to the Z30 club...

I installed the leak on Monday when I got the device...the official update loaded like a champ on Tuesday. Glad I went through the process. Welcome to the Klub....although I've only been a Klub member for a few days.
